MY APPROACH

treatment philosophy

The classical Ayurvedic texts explain that health is a state of balance. I want you to have the tools and support you need to find and maintain balance, so that you can live a vibrant, healthy, joyful life.

Imagine what it would be like if:

  • Pain didn’t prevent you from doing the things that bring you joy;

  • If you felt completely nourished, rested, supported, and balanced;

  • If you had the resources to digest and metabolize your experiences, to integrate what you need and let go of what you don’t;

  • If you knew how to heal yourself.

I’m here to support you in developing a personalized wellness practice that addresses the root causes of your symptoms so that you can move from surviving to thriving.

I use Ayurveda as a framework for my physical therapy practice to address pain from an integrative, full being perspective. Pain affects more than a specific body part, and isn't just a mechanical problem. I see pain as the nervous system's reaction to perceived threat, which affects all the systems of the body, as well as the mind and the spirit. My treatment plans go beyond traditional physical therapy exercises and also incorporate CranioSacral Therapy, therapeutic yoga, and Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle shifts to support whole-being healing.
